Swords of Slaying

These powerful magical swords are made to combat certain creatures. For each sword, the magic will work only against a specified creature. When that creature is encountered in combat, the sword becomes +3/+3 and produces triple damage on a natural 20 attack roll. Each sword also enables its user to cast the following spells once per day against the target creature:

1.) A 3d6 fireball
2.) Sleep (a save vs. spells must be completed)

When used against targets other than the specified creature, the sword shows none of its magical powers. The specified creature has to be a monster or humanoid; no swords affecting demi-humans or humans have ever been heard of.
