Covering a large amount of detail about divine power in the Forgotten Realms setting, Faiths and Pantheons is a large hardcover book that most players and DM’s will not want to do without.
This book is one of the many Forgotten Realms accessories that is just so full of game information that it makes it worth the price that WotC is asking for it. There is detailed information on over 100+ gods, specialty priest prestige classes, some temples of worship, and even a few specialty creatures and feats. The descriptions of each pantheon, along with the accompanying artwork, is top quality. Combine this with little snippets on magic items, powers and such that they put in sidebars throughout the book, and you end up with a wealth of material for any campaign system. I just started using this book myself, and have found it very helpful in my own campaign, which is not based in Forgotten Realms. I just like using the gods from FR and any other source that I deem worthy, such as this wonderful book.
If you are a Forgotten Realms fan, or one of those who wishs to add more gods to your campaign, get a copy of this book. You simple can’t go wrong with this purchase.
